Learning a bit about your therapist can help determine if we are a good fit.

My therapy practice is dedicated to helping other helping professionals carve out the time and space to prioritize their mental health. When you’re used to being the one others rely on, it can be hard to admit when you need more support. Healthcare workers, firefighters, law enforcement, mental health providers, educators, and many others give tirelessly to those they serve—often at the expense of their own well-being. We hone the skill of taking care of others, but struggle to take care of ourselves.

With nearly a decade of experience in community and inpatient mental health, higher education, and bedside nursing, I’ve seen firsthand how our systems fail both who they aim to serve and those at the front line. My time at the bedside made this especially clear, leading me to further my education to better serve both my patients and my community. Today, I continue working part-time as a registered nurse and teaching the next generation of nurses.

Outside of work I enjoy playing/listening to music, getting lost in a good book and getting out in nature with my three dogs- Pippa, Bentley, and Jax.
